I help founders turn complexity into a clear direction.

(the underpinning principle for all my work)

When your business has outgrown the story holding it together, you need more than another content strategy. If you’re launching, you need to do it strategically.

I work with founders to find the idea underneath the business, turn it into a clear strategic direction, and build the narrative, positioning and creative systems around it.

I call it Creative Strategy and it’s what underpins all the services I offer and my complete way of working.

Creative strategy makes sure every element of your presence is serving a purpose

We’re often racing to output content, keep relevant on social media, sell our services, and keep up with our communication commitments (newsletters, blogs, etc.).

I make space for us to stop for a moment and take a step back.

We ask:

  • are the communication channels pointing to something intentional? Or are your clients confused about what you offer and how to work with you?
  • are people getting a consistent sense of who you are, what you do and what you stand for? Or is your messaging haphazard, with no consistent voice or identity?
  • is what makes you unique at the forefront of your online presence? Or has it gotten lost in the sea of information you feel you have to share?
  • are you hiding behind your brand? Would sharing your story, face and voice drastically support the building of trust? Are you doing ‘busy-work’ that costs 50x more effort and is way less impactful just so you don’t have to be vulnerable?

The state my clients are often in when they find me:

  • launching a new business and overwhelmed by ‘marketing’ as a whole
  • completely immobilised by social media/posting only in spurts
  • consistent with social media but not strategic and with no results
  • changing offers, target market, or positioning and trying to find what lights them up
  • creating lots of text based posts that try to either tell stories or sell services without anyone being able to see the ‘why’ behind their business
  • complicated websites with no clarity on what clients want users to do
  • multi-potentialites, overwhelmed by all the things they can do and offer, who end up abandoning business idea right before they’re about to take off

Most founders are doing too much

That should come as a relief, because what most founders need to do is to strip things back. I help them define the idea underneath the output, then streamline systems and processes to make sure everything points in the right direction.

What I do

I shape the thinking that sits before execution.

That includes:

  • Campaign direction and concept systems
  • Narrative frameworks for brands in transition
  • Messaging architecture across touchpoints
  • Creative territories for teams scaling output
  • Positioning refinement when things have drifted

It’s all about keeping it simple, stupid – consistency and clarity.

My Approach: Three moves

Read

Understanding what is already happening in the work, the market, and the perception gap between the two.

Reduce

Removing competing ideas until a single set of organising principles becomes visible.

Structure

Translating those principles into something founders can use, in a meaningful streamlined way.

Book a Call

How you know it’s strategic:

  • It feels impactful, and a bit obvious in hindsight
  • It centres on one clear idea rather than a collection of competing ones. Easier to move, easier to sell, easier to scale.
  • It holds across formats because the essence is crystal clear
  • And yes, it makes everything cheaper to run. Because it’s intentional and considered, not haphazard.

Selected Context

A historical space finding its voice

Brandenburg, Germany

A heritage accommodation and events space with significant depth, held back by a digital presence that didn’t reflect its lived reality. I focused on restoring alignment between what the space is and how it is communicated, using the founders’ story as the anchor for expression and allowing the tone, language, and presence to shift into something more accurate and legible.

A barefoot business realigning with its people

Noosa, Australia

A values-led practice that had gradually absorbed borrowed language and positioning that no longer matched the reality of the work. I identified a coherence issue, resolved by returning to the underlying story and allowing audience, tone, offers, and systems to reorganise around it in a way that felt more natural and sustainable.

Internal stories creating operational clarity

Disability support organisation, Cairns, Australia

A capable organisation operating under avoidable cognitive load due to fragmented internal understanding. I focused on restoring shared meaning through clearer role definition, simplified communication, and small cultural structures that reduced friction and returned focus to care, decision-making, and coordination.
